Produced for the World Bank and filmed on location in Malawi and Zambia, this short form documentary examines the intricacies of cross-border trade in the region. Mixing commentary from experts in the field with that of the traders themselves over songs by popular local artists Judy Yo & Peter Mawanga and the Amaravi Movement, it both highlights the difficulties that formal and informal traders face and suggests innovative ideas for the way forward.
